Put some love in your bones..
A super heart for a super you!
3 tbsp cacao
1tbsp lucuma*
1 tbsp raspberry powder*
1 tbsp powdered ginseng*
2tbsp coconut oil
3 tbsp coconut palm sugar*
handful of goji berries*
handful of sunflower seeds*
*These ingredients are optional, you can get as creative as you like making your own chocolates and can also use whatever sweeteners you prefer, such as honey or a natural fruit sweetener..or if you like your chocolate really dark..none at all.
I like to change the ingredients to suit whichever mood I'm in. When I made this batch I felt in need of a boost..hence the addition of ginseng..and oh my word did this do the trick!
First, melt the coconut oil over a bain marie (bowl over pan of water) on a low heat.
Then lovingly combine the rest of the ingredients in a large bowl, saving a few gojis and sunflower seeds for decoration.
When the coconut oil is near melted, add in the coconut palm sugar (or other sweetener if using) and stir for 2-3 mins, then add into bowl with the other ingredients. Mix well and quite quickly as the chocolate does soon begin to set.
Then transfer into your preferred dish..(chocolate moulds/cupcake moulds).
Leave the chocolate to set in the fridge for one hour, then remove from mould and enjoy!
This is great fun to make with kids and you really can get as creative as you like with whatever ingredients you use.
Try adding chopped nuts and dried fruits, ginger and a pinch of cayenne work well too..and also a sprinkle of salt..
yum!
